A Closer Look At...New Allods!
Hello and welcome to another 'A Closer Look At...' where we document the major changes coming to the world of Sarnaut in the next exciting update of Allods Online: Game of Gods! So far we've seen how the interface and mentoring system will be improved and given some details on the revamps to the Paladin and Psionicist classes, we're sure you're intrigued by those but let's move forward into the most innovative, mysterious and unique experience you can find our fantastic MMO, the Astral, and showcase the new Astral allods joining us in the next few weeks!
Our deep astral explorers have uncovered a total of seven new allods, all ready to be explored and plundered by our Sarnautian adventurers. As ever, neither Aidenus nor Yasker like sending their troops into battle without a little scouting work being done however, and so it fell to the Historians to send their finest scout to document the new lands, mobs and bosses waiting for you! Their findings were startling, allods ranging from new underwater areas to vast jungles to terrifying witches, an endless battle raging, scorched lands and much more! Let's open up their journals and show you what we mean!
The Underwater Kingdom
Long believed to by a myth, something dredged from an old merchant's tale of a man who promises away his child and his own future to an underwater king in exchange for his freedom, the Underwater Kingdom has finally been discovered! A clump of rock floating in the astral, something none had suspected of holding the secrets to this ancient tale, is where you will set sail to! You will find an enchanted well there, dip your bucket in the well and you will be transported to a land ruled by a Sea King and his daughter, one where drowned men continue to beg for their souls and where even the normally friendly crabs will have you for breakfast!
Be wary all those who travel here, getting out of the Underwater Kingdom will be even harder than finding it!
A mysterious Empirical outpost situated in the Kanian Archipelagos themselves, this allod is home to experiments that could yet win the war for the Empire, or wipe them out in the process! Following the chaos of Lab 13 it was thought that all military scientists of the Empire had ceased testing the power of the mind melded with the fierceness of robotic armor, but people thought wrong! Classified documents fell into the hands of the Historians and their spy was able to capture some images of the terrifying creatures that have been created there on his trusty Desorotype!
The Empire should be aware that there looks to be a mutiny on their hands too, so be as careful as the League will be when first visiting this allod!
Ever wonder what would happen if all the men in the world just disappeared (or were brutally massacred) and the females took over? Well wonder no more! An allod made up of an entirely female population has been relocated! Once home to a Kanian settlement, with the fortress still standing, the women of the group came under the influence of a watch known as Fenia. Little is recorded of the horrors visited on the menfolk following the witch's ascension to the power, but what we now know is that a society of females are just as bloodthirsty as one run by men! Want to find out just how vicious they can be? Take your ship and head to Fenia's Cloister to find out!
We'd advise the guys to wear some extra protection before jumping on board, yes even the Gibberlings....
Once a wondrous nature reserve, ripe for great hunts and nights out under the stars, Cinderland has fallen into hard times. An arisen scientist, looking for a quiet sanctuary to ponder the great questions of life, fell foul to one of the great wonders of life, alcohol! Befriending an Orc ranger they enjoyed many a night drinking potent Orcish beer, until the scientist had one cup too many one fateful night and decided that he was Fireborn, a Great Fire Mage! Unfortunately for the lush surroundings around him he was actually a Great Mage, and so not only burnt the entire reserve to the ground but cursed all the creatures that dwelt upon the now scorched land!
If you're expecting help from the scientist in putting these fires out then let us answer your plea, he's still drunk and acting crazy so watch out for him!
An allod that holds some of the mysteries of the ancient June civilisation, a missing astral crew some Kobold mercenaries looking to plunder the loot for themselves, and a lone treasure seeker , called Capa, that wishes to race you to the prize buried below the surface of the allod are what you have in store for you on our next allod! We all know that greed and power corrupts everyone, except for Aidenus and Yasker of course, well unless you're fighting against one of those two that is! But it certainly has corrupted here! Race against Capa to the center of the allod and discover what became of the Lost Expedition!
Be careful on this dusky allod, you don't want to fall into the darkness of it's mines forever!
Once a mining town that was handed over to the Empire to be used as a training ground this allod is now a true theater of war! What was once military practice between an Imperial Red and Blue team escalated into a full on bloody battle when an Orcish general, named Gire the Merciless, slaughtered the majority of his enemies one night in a fit of rage! Realising the wrath of Yasker would soon be upon him he declared himself the new leader of the Empire and announced a plan to overthrow Yasker with his army! Sadly for him he forgot about owning any astral ships to take him away from Metalville! Now the Empire much reach the allod and punish his group for their treason, whilst the League will still want to wipe out this new strain of the Empire before it gains more strength!
Beware the falling missiles among the charred ruins of this once great city!
The last great house of the de Blizare dynasty was situated here until the Night of the Astral Portals! Utterly unprepared for the hoarde of astral demons that came pouring into the universe the allod was valiantly defended by some Elven Great Mages to their dying breath. Now their blood still flows through the lands, but the entire allods has been taken over by scores of demons. Your task, as is always the case when an astral demon rears it's ugly head into our world, is to wipe them all out! The allod will never be truly retaken and restored but we can make the blood shed that night not be completely in vain!
The allod contains a destroyed astral ship, one that tried to escape that night, use it as inspiration to kill as many demons as you possibly can!
The Jungles of Mboa-Mboa
We were too scared to find out what happens when one of our Majestic Lions crossed paths with a lion from the jungles, how about you try it and report back to us?!
And so those are your 8 new allods to explore in the coming update of Allods Online! We're sure you'll agree that the additions of lions and witches and Great Fire Mages (oh my!) will add some extra sparkle, as well as some extra danger, to our already great list of astral adventures that our players can undertake daily! It won't be long now until you'll be able to rush to your astral ships and head out to explore these lands yourself!
